Lee Ann Kelley, MD 
Medical Director, Primary Principal Investigator

Dr. Kelley is a board-certified (ABPN) psychiatrist who began her clinical trials research career at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine where she was on the academic faculty from 1993 until 1998, when she joined the staff at Mayo Clinic Arizona. After eight years as a staff psychiatrist at Mayo Clinic Arizona (where she remains on the teaching staff), she started her private practice in 2006. She continues to see her private practice patients daily at the clinic, along with clinical trial patients. She pioneered Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in Arizona using the NeuroStar device, and has been treating patients with TMS longer than any other psychiatrist in Arizona. After entering private practice she served as PI and Sub-I on various local clinical trials, and in 2010, she founded NoesisPharma, subsequently increasing her clinical trials work. She has conducted over 80 clinical trials, acting as Principal Investigator on nearly all of them. She serves as the primary rater on all of her studies.

 

Dr. Kelley has been selected to membership in the prestigious American College of Psychiatrists and has been honored as a Fellow in the American Psychiatric Association. She has been repeatedly voted by her peers as a "Top Doc" in Phoenix Magazine. She received the NCDEU/ASCP New Investigator Award early in her career. She has served on the board of the Maricopa County Medical Society since 2014 and was President in 2020. She is a member of the Arizona Medical Association, where she is on the Board of Directors. She has been a speaker/Thought Leader for various pharmaceutical companies in the past.

John Prater, DO
Sub-Investigator/Rater

Dr. John Prater is a board-certified psychiatrist with many years of both private practice and clinical trials experience, primarily in the Ft. Myers, Florida area. He relocated to Phoenix in 2017. He has served as medical director of several facilities in the past, was a consultant to the Boston Red Sox, and worked at Florida Gulf Coast University providing psychiatric care to students for several years. He was an Associate Professor of Psychiatry for Nova Southeastern University and has served as a consultant for the State of Florida Impaired Practitioner Program. Since 2017 he has been a staff psychiatrist at the Phoenix VA Medical Center, where his experiences as a medic serving the Marines in Viet Nam make him uniquely suited to serve our veteran population. He joined NoesisPharma as a part-time Sub-investigator/rater in 2017, and has been involved in over 140 clinical trials during his career, mostly as Principal Investigator. He is serving as the 2021 President of Maricopa County Medical Society.

Gabriela O'Hara, CRC
Clinical Site Manager/Regulatory/Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator

Gabriela is a passionate Clinical Research Coordinator who joined NoesisPharma in 2019 as a full-time Primary Clinical Research Coordinator. Driven by her excellent work ethic, she takes pride in providing the best coordinator support for the Principal Investigator in her day-to-day tasks of the trials.
Gabriela began her career in the research field in 2015. Since then, she has coordinated numerous trials related to the Central Nervous System as well as   Infectious Disease. She orchestrates well-organized Clinical Trial activities covering the entire life cycle of a study from the pre-study start-up activities to the study close-out and beyond. 
Gabriela holds an Associate Degree in Medical Assistant and is working toward completion of a university Biological Science Program while working full time. Her goal is to use her acquired knowledge through ongoing education and leveraging her hands-on experience to continue to deliver comprehensive and high-quality Clinical Trial Data.

Clinical Research Coordinator

Therese is a Clinical Research Coordinator with a deep-seated passion to see others thrive. She received a Bachelors in Nursing from West Coast University, Los Angeles, CA in 2012 and recently completed intensive training with Clinical Research Fastrack in Scottsdale, AZ. Her multifaceted background includes experience in post-market surveillance, entrepreneurship and holistic healing. She is excited to grow in the world of clinical research and with the NoesisPharma team.

Matthew Broussard, M.S.
Clinical Research Coordinator | Tobacco Treatment Specialist

Matthew Broussard, M.S. joined Noesis Pharma in February 2022  as a Clinical Research Coordinator through Threewire and Insight Global. He has received training in Lean Six Sigma, Tobacco Addiction Treatment, and Substance Use Counseling from Arizona State University. Mr. Broussard holds a concurrent B.S. in Psychological Sciences and Philosophy with a minor in Religious Studies. He obtained his Masters in the Science of Health Care Delivery. Mr. Broussard has 5 years of addiction research experience, in which he has helped with projects looking at risk factors for alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco abuse. More recent projects include investigating novel medications for major depressive disorder, novel medications for smoking cessation treatments, the efficacy of marijuana for PTSD, and emotional dysregulation in individuals exposed to childhood trauma. Mr. Broussard is passionate about investigating new treatments for mental disorders, specifically the incorporation of holistic approaches in therapy (e.g. yoga, meditation, diet, etc.). Moreover, Mr. Broussard has taken interest in the use of psychedelic medications as a treatment for depression and PTSD. In his free time, Mr. Broussard enjoys camping, backpacking, traveling, and live music.

Conley Kelley, M.S.
Coordinator/Rater

Conley is a Study Coordinator and has worked in research for over 8 years. She served as Site Director/Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at NoesisPharma for most of this past year. She received her Master of Science in Global Medicine from Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California in 2017, after completing her BA in Global Health from Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University in 2016. During her undergraduate years, she studied abroad in Switzerland with a Global Health and Development Policy program. Her Barrett honors thesis research project was completed at Mayo Clinic Arizona on "Next Generation Sequencing Methylation Profiling in Skeletal Muscle Pre- and Post-Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery." Conley is a medical volunteer and has traveled to Kenya with "One Child Matters" where she worked with children in need, performing health evaluations and dispensing medication.
